Microsoft Windows 95 User Introduction

Course Aims
MS Windows 95 provides users with a powerful graphical desktop and entry level networking environment. It allows you to transfer information to others; to manage files and data; to manage printing; to share data and devices; and to run applications. On completion of the course readers will understand the terminology of Windows 95; be able to use a mouse, menus and scroll bars, make selections and activate processes; understand how to pass data to other users and applications; and use Windows 95 tools and utilities to improve your own and workgroup productivity.
Assumed Knowledge
A basic understanding of PCs and a standard keyboard layout as gained from attendance on a "PC Introduction" course or from past experience. No experience of networking is required.
Course Audience
Intending, new or recent MS Windows 95 users who will be using Windows and network based applications. This is essential training for anyone who will be studying applications software product courses who do not have this level of experience. This is not a conversion course for MS Windows 3.x users.
